O edifício é inspirado na árvore do Embondeiro, por ser um elemento reconhecido e respeitado por todas as culturas no Senegal. Surge no projecto como elemento unificador e tecto das diversas culturas. O edifício é organizado em três módulos com funções distintas, Núcleo de Acolhimento, Núcleo Recreativo e Núcleo Expositivo. A construção é sistematizada como forma de facilitar processos e consequentemente torna-la mais económica.

The building is inspired by the Bao Bab tree, an element recognized and respected by all cultures in Senegal. It appears in the project as unifying element and ceiling of the diverse cultures. The building is organized in three modules with different functions, Reception Core, Recreational Core and Exhibition Core. Construction is systematized as a way of facilitating processes and consequently making it more economical.
